In the Press: Talking Tile, Kitchens, and Timeless Design

In every home, the kitchen does more than cook. It hosts late-night chats, chaotic mornings, family recipes, and quiet cups of coffee. When we design these spaces, we’re thinking about all of it—the function, the flow, and the feeling.

This month, I had the chance to share a few thoughts on the design choices that bring kitchens to life in three recent press features:

"A successful kitchen remodel starts with a solid plan and a clear vision that reflects your desired style, budget, and the practical needs of your space.

Begin by researching your preferred design, essential features, and realistic budgeting and scheduling options. This proactive approach not only eases financial concerns but also sets achievable goals aligned with your expectations."

“These tiles catch light in a way that adds depth and dimension, creating an air of understated luxury,” Billingsley says. “The iridescence provides a sophisticated contrast to sleek modern cabinets.”

“Stick to natural materials in neutral tones for your hard finishes, then let lighting, hardware, and décor bring in the fun. The right tile choice should feel timeless—something you’ll still love ten years down the line.”
