Two Ways to Work with RBI

Our most comprehensive engagement carries the interior design from initial concept through specification, furnishings, procurement, and final installation.
When a builder, architect, contractor, or other construction professional is involved, RBI remains actively engaged throughout the project to help maintain continuity between the approved interior design and its execution. Depending on the project scope, RBI may develop design-related schedules, conduct site walkthroughs, coordinate selections and installations, communicate with the project team, and address design-related questions as the work progresses. The builder or general contractor remains responsible for construction means and methods, jobsite safety, permits, code compliance, trade supervision, and the actual performance of construction work.

2 | Design Services Only
Design Services Only provides the creative and technical foundation of an RBI-designed interior with a more streamlined level of ongoing coordination.
RBI develops the design, plans, specifications, selections, and procurement of approved furnishings and materials. RBI purchases approved furnishings and materials on the client's behalf in accordance with the applicable procurement procedures and payment requirements.
The client remains responsible for coordinating contractors, managing the construction or renovation process, scheduling trades, overseeing installation, coordinating installers, and addressing installation-related deficiencies unless additional services are specifically included in the Scope of Work. RBI may provide design-related consultation or assistance with installation questions as requested, billed at the applicable hourly rate.
