Sharing One of My Deepest Passions… RB Curated
Today marks the launch of RB Curated—something incredibly close to my heart.
This new venture is a natural extension of the work I do through Regan Billingsley Interiors: designing homes that reflect the people who live in them. But RB Curated goes even deeper. It’s born from years of traveling to Guatemala, connecting with master weavers in remote villages, and learning firsthand the power of textiles as both art and heritage.
RB Curated features a collection of handwoven textiles created in collaboration with artisan collectives across Guatemala. Each piece is a reflection of generations of skill, tradition, and cultural storytelling—crafted slowly, intentionally, and entirely by hand.
This isn’t about collecting things. It’s about preserving traditions, supporting communities, and bringing something meaningful and lasting into the spaces we call home.
Textiles have always spoken to me.
They’re more than decoration—they’re visual storytellers. Woven into each thread are the histories, beliefs, and identities of the people who created them. That’s what draws me in time and again—not just the beauty, but the meaning behind it.
Over the years, I’ve gone far off the beaten path—digging through dusty stacks in remote markets, sitting with artisans in modest workshops, and visiting tucked-away shops that most designers never find. One of the most profound of these journeys took me to Guatemala.
There, weaving isn’t simply a craft—it’s a living legacy. Techniques are passed down from grandmother to granddaughter, and every motif is layered with symbolism and heritage. I was deeply moved not only by the luxurious quality and intricacy of the work, but by the strength and spirit of the artisans who carry these traditions forward—often with little recognition.
My passion lies in preserving this heritage through lasting, respectful partnerships that give back to the communities behind the craft. Handwoven textiles carry history, heart, and soul—and I’m committed to helping ensure they continue to have a future.
A Different Way to Design
What began as a personal passion for preserving culture and handcrafted design eventually led me to Averie and her team at Casa Flor. Together, we started building RB Curated—rooted in shared values of heritage, artistry, and ethical collaboration.
Our collection offers designers and homeowners the opportunity to incorporate heirloom-quality pieces into their spaces—each one created with care by skilled artisans using time-honored techniques.
These goods reflect the kind of design I care most about—thoughtful, purposeful, and rooted in connection.
The Launch
RB Curated is officially live today—April 21—and I couldn’t be more grateful to share it with you. You can explore the collection at www.rbcurated.com.
If you’ve worked with me before, you know I believe that every element in a home should hold meaning. RB Curated was born from that same conviction. It’s about honoring tradition, celebrating craft, and creating pieces with purpose—objects that carry stories and stand the test of time.
Each piece is handmade in collaboration with artisans, offering something truly rare in today’s world—authentic, exclusive designs you won’t see in every showroom or catalog. For designers and homeowners who seek originality, these one-of-a-kind pieces bring a distinctive sense of character and craftsmanship into the home.
Thank you for being part of this journey. I’m incredibly proud to bring this to life—and even more inspired by what’s to come.
