Design Oversight During Construction
Keeping the approved design clear, coordinated, and connected to its execution throughout construction.
When a project includes construction or renovation, RBI remains actively involved to help maintain continuity between the approved design and its execution.
Depending on the project scope, we may develop design-related schedules, conduct site walkthroughs, coordinate selections and installations, review work for consistency with the approved design, communicate with architects, builders, contractors, and trades, and address design-related questions as the project progresses.
Our role is to help protect the integrity of the design and provide the project team with the information and guidance needed to carry it forward successfully.
The builder or general contractor remains responsible for construction means and methods, jobsite safety, permits, code compliance, trade supervision, and the actual performance of construction work.
